Hello my loves,

First of all I want to sincerely apologise for the lack of posts these last couple of weeks. I appreciate every single one of you who sign up for my content, but I'm still learning the art of balancing consistency vs posting only what I truly feel is worth sharing with you all.

Anyway I hope you find this week's post interesting and I'd love to know your thoughts on it!

Stories can be used for the greater good, to rally other people and collectively create positive change. As you can see it's the power of imagination and storytelling that has made the human race as successful as it is today. It's enabled us to work in great numbers to create civilisations and enforce law and order. However, it is equally responsible for much of the injustice and destruction we see in the world today.

On a personal level, we have created stories about ourselves, our abilities, our limitations and our potential. Many stories have been so embedded in us that we believe them to be the absolute Truth. But are they really? Think carefully and be more selective about the stories you believe in about yourself and the world around you. Once we identify the ones that hold us back, we can get to work on changing them for the better.

Check out this Ted Talk by Harari which explains this topic in more detail:

I'd like to know what's a story you have about yourself that might not necessarily be true? Let me know in the comments section below!
